Pipe Information
Pipe Material: Aluminum (AL), Carbon Steel (CS), Carbon Steel Rubber Lined (CSRL), Carpenter 20 (C-20), Copper (CU), Chlorinated Polyvinyl Chloride (CPVC), Fiberglass (FRP), High Density Polyethylene Pipe (HDPE), Monel Pipe, Polytetrafluoroethylene Pipe (PTFE), Polyvinylidene Fluoride Pipe (PVDF), Polyvinyl Chloride Pipe (PVC), Stainless Steel Pipe both 304 and 316 (304 SS) (316SS).
Pipe connetions can be threaded (THR), socket weld (SW), butt-weld (BW), soldered end (SE), flanged (FLG), slip on glued (SOG), mechanical joint (MJ), fusion both socket and butt, grooved, and hydraulic coupling.
Pipe Routing Design and Implementation: It is designed first in office isometric (ISO) drawings prior to fabrication and installation of piping. The Bottom of Pipe (BOP) elevation and Face of Flange (FOF) dimensions are established prior to hanging the pipe. Expansion loop and valve access are identified prior to pipe installation. Instrumentation locations are summarized to ease client needs. Insulation and accessibility and thickness are in consideration.

Pipe Support Design and Installation: Analysis is done of the need of pipe support, pipe bridge, and pipe rack. Since the existing pipe support may not be strong enough, study and design of the revised pipe support system is required.
Selection of Valves both Manual and Control: A large selection of manual valves are available, here are a few to name, Ball valves, Butterfly valves, Check valves, Diaphragm valves, Gate valves, Globe valves, Knife Gate valves, Needle valves, Pinch valves, and Plug valves. Other type of control valves, Actuators valves, Backflow Prevention valves, Back-Pressure Relief valves, Condensate Drain valves, Diverting valves, Float valves, Hydraulic Cylinder valves, Metering valves, Mixing valves, Pneumatic Control valves, Pneumatic Solenoid valves, Pressure Regulating valves, Pressure Relief valves, Release valves, Relief valves, Safety Relief valves, Solenoid valves, Temperature Control valves, and Three way valves.
P&ID Development and Implementation: Piping & Instrumentation Drawing (P&ID), also known as Piping & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), is done by process department. P&ID revisions are common. Piping layout, routing, creating, revision, and installation of all process piping are done by piping department. Electrical department perform quality Electrical & Control (E&C) works as per project requirement. The instrumentation design and programmable logic controllers (PLC) and Control Panel are performed by instrumentation department.
Pipe Testing: It is essential to test the piping systems after fabrication and before operation. Piping has to develop methods to do various pressurized and vacuum tests. All pipe testing are non-destructive.
Pipe Painting and Labeling: While pipe installation, routing, and support are some of Base Construction's specialties, pipe painting and labeling are essential to safe operation and usage of process piping.
Pipe Insulation and Heat Tracing: Quality of heat tracing (both steam and electrical) and insulation of all requirements.
